A few weekends ago, I went camping at the Yamaska National Park with some friends. It was very nice and I really enjoy it. I used to go camping and did stop for a few years, but it was so good to go back. I usually go camping in the middle woods, like not a national park. Actually, it was kind of my first time, I enjoy it, but I really do prefer going in the middle of the woods to do it because you don’t have to buy the woods for the fire camp and you don’t see you neighbors, something that I do appreciate. However, it was a very nice place.
There is a little lake where my friend and I went spending some time there, just talking and relaxing. It was such a beautiful place to relax and to check the view, it was so calm and honestly ,you didn’t hear anybody, it was like if we were alone in the park. It was amazing.
I love autumn for the leaves color and going camping at this time of the year it’s amazing. Everything was beautiful and the smell of the woods, nothing can smell better than that except the fire.
Mornings in the woods, when the sun comes from the trees it’s just so magical and relaxing. You feel more alive and you feel like you are part of something. I truly needed this little weekend in the woods, like a quote I saw," there’s no WIFI in the forest, but it’s where you will find a better connection" and it’s true.
I recommended you this place if you never did camping before or that you have young children. You can do many activities in the park, such as walk, canoe, bicycle, etc. Further, you are close to the Granby Zoo so that could be fun to go visit.
